Your holiday begins in Darwin where you’ll have three nights to explore the capital of Australia’s Northern territory. Just 60km from Darwin lies the Adelaide River, home to more than 1600 crocodiles and the location of the famous Jumping Crocodiles which you will able to see first-hand! Afterwards continue on to the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre for views over the Marrakai Plains, and then it’s onto Fogg Dam Nature Reserve, where you’ll experience a wetland ecosystem up close.
Whilst in Darwin you’ll also have the opportunity to join a full-day tour to Litchfield National Park, home to lush monsoon forests, termite mounds, unusual rock formations, waterfalls and cascades. Your local guide will show you through the most stunning locations and will arrange a barbecue lunch.
Following your stay you’ll board the legendary Ghan train for your journey of discovery to Adelaide.
