A total of 200 teams have entered the race for one of the 31 places at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

The preliminary phase, which began in the Oceanian Zone back in August 2007, is now in full swing, with only the Host Nation guaranteed a berth in world football's showpiece event.

As the draw is not released until December 4th the exact venue and date your team will be playing their first round matches is not known.

Therefore, we have based our initial packages mainly in Johannesburg as the majority of the match venues are within driving distance of Johannesburg. Should your team draw a match in Durban, Cape Town or Port Elizabeth, flights will be required and this could incur an extra cost. We estimate this cost in the vicinity of $500 per return flight.

Should you wish to base yourself in an alternative location for the duraction of your stay please contact our staff as we are happy to tailor make a package for you.

Clients who purchase one of our ’first release’ packages will have the option to upgrade to a ‘follow you team’ tour. This tour will be designed for you to travel to the respective cities where your team is playing. There may be an extra cost
involved and we will advise you of this when the exact venues are determined.

We, however suggest you reserve one of the following packages as tickets are very limited, and will be sold on a first in first served basis. You can then upgrade your tour after December the 4th and still be guaranteed tickets.

Johannesburg
There have been concerns raised with regards to the safety of Johannesburg. Our research shows that this city is no different to any other city in South Africa. FIFA World Cup organising committee are very aware that crime in South Africa has been a concern to the traveller and consequently they have made a commitment to increase security during the event to ensure safety is a high priority. Not only is Johannesburg close to the majority of the football venues, there are many tours and attractions in Johannesburg and surrounds that are of great interest to travellers.

Transport
Includes contracted airconditioned coaches of all sizes with drivers/guides. A coach will be based in every accommodation house to transport clients safely to attractions and amenities throughout Johannesburg and surrounds.

Airfares
Our initial packages are quoted without airfares, however all packages must be sold with proof of airfares in and out of South Africa.

Following another team?
Whilst our packages support the Socceroos all packages (with the exception of the overland package) can be adapted to follow other countries. If you wish to follow another country please contact us or make this clear on our booking form and we will request tickets with FIFA World Cup to follow your desired country. These will only be confirmed upon availability.

Want to see extra matches (other than Socceroo’s)
It is possible to see other matches whilst you are in South Africia supporting the Socceroos. Please advise us the matches you would like to see and we will request tickets from FIFA World Cup for you, subject to availability, and add these to your package.
