P&O Cruises is set to transform cruising with the introduction of new 'Your Choice Cruising' on Australia's first superliner, Pacific Dawn in November 2007.
Your Choice Cruising on Pacific Dawn, means more choice in cabins with balcony cabins set to become an affordable luxury, more choice in entertainment with fabulous performances in both Pacific Dawn's signature Dome and the International Show Lounge and more choice in dining with 5 different evening venues where passengers choose when, where and with whom they wish to dine.
- Climate/Seasonal Variations (South Pacific):
The South Pacific is at its glorious best in the dry season from May to October. Expect clear, warm days with an average temperature of 23°C (73°F). For walking or trekking, narrow it down to the cold season, June to August, when water temperatures drop to 21°C and the air is cooler - not the best time to visit if you're hoping to laze around on a beach. Summer is the wet season and brings warmer weather but it can be unpleasantly steamy, with the heaviest rains in January.
