The Klondike Hotel is situated in a vast tropical garden in the village known as Flic en Flac, situated in the western coast of the island. The Hotel, being situated right on the western seashore, enables residents to daily watch a beautiful sunset in the evening from the beach that is adjacent to the hotel rooms.
Flic en Flac is some 40 kilometres from the airport. As Mauritius is subject to the South East trade wind, the South and South Eastern part of the island are subject to rain during the rainy season, however Flic en Flac, being situated on the western coast, we enjoy sunshine almost all the year round and the sea remains calm.
Almost 30 kilometres of the coast of Flic en Flac is located a beautiful island known as Ile aux Benitiers, where tourists love to spend the day. Tourists also have the possibility of befriending dolphins right in the middle of their own environment.
