The exquisite and exclusive Palace on Wheels is an air-conditioned broad gauge train with interiors done in accordance to the aesthetics of the old saloons. The Palace on Wheels consists of 14 inter-connected Saloons, 2 Restaurant-cum-Kitchen cars, a Bar-cum-Lounge and 4 Service cars as also a well-appointed lounge, library and bar.
DAY 1: DELHI
Board the train at 1600 for your 1830 departure from Delhi Cantonment Station (D)
DAY 2: JAIPUR
Visit the beautiful "Pink City" of Jaipur seeing the Palace of the Winds, Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar mantar. (B/L/D)
DAY 3: JAISALMER
Today, visit the "Golden Cioty" of Jaisalmer with its honey coloured fort. Take a sightseeing tour to see the intricate Havelis then head out to the Sam Sand Dunes on camel back. (B/L/D)
DAY 4: JODHPUR
Arrive early in to the "Blue City" of Jodhpur where you'll visit Mehrangarh Fort. (B/L/D)
DAY 5: SAWAI MADHOPUR - CHITTAURGARH
Take an early morning excursion to Ranthambore National Park, famous for its tigers. Board the train for the onward journey to Chittaurgarh, where you'll take a tour of Chittaurgarh Fort B/L/D)
DAY 6: UDAIPUR
Visit the beautiful late city of Udaipur today and enjoy lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel before a sightseeing tour of the City Palace (B/L/D)
DAY 7: BHARATPUR - AGRA
Early morning arrival in to Bharatpur for a visit to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Arrive in to Agra in the afternoon. Visit Fatehpur Sikri, the Red Fort and the stunning Taj Mahal (B/L/D)
Day 8: DELHI
Arrive in to Delhi at 0600 where your journey ends. (B)
