This tiny state is situated on the west coast of India, between the borders of Maharastra and Karnataka and is better known to the world as the former Portuguese enclave on Indian soil. With the rule of the Portuguese for over 450 years and the consequential influence of the Latin culture, Goa presents a somewhat different picture to the foreign visitor than any other part of the country. The state of Goa is famous for its excellent beaches, churches, and temples. The Bom Jesus cathedral is another famous attraction in Goa.
Goa comprises two districts: North and South Goa. The State Capital, Panaji is in North Goa. North Goa has beautiful beaches such as Anjuna, Chapora and Vagator which are popular on full moon nights. More developed areas are Calangute, Baga and Candolim.
Old Goa has been given the World Heritage Status by UNESCO and is one of the main tourist attractions as it preserves the tomb of St Francis Xavier. Some of the places of interest are Se Cathedral ( the largest of the churches in Goa) , Convent and Church of St Francis of Assisi, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and Church of St Cajetan, Church of St Augustine ruins and Church and Convent of St Monica

Day 1 Mumbai - Goa
Early morning departure for your flight to Goa. Transfer to your hotel and the rest of the morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of Old Goa and Panjim City, followed by a boat cruise on the Mandovi River.
Day 2 Goa
Today is at leisure to explore the beaches or simply relax (B)
Day 3 Goa - Mumbai
Morning at leisure. Around midday, transfer to the airport for your early afternoon flight back to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, your tour ends (B)
