Where the endless red of the Great Sandy Desert collides with the crystalline blue of the Indian Ocean, there runs a 23-kilometre arc of dazzling white.

Cable Beach Club is like nothing else. Its architecture is a wondrous mix of tropical Kimberley house and grand Chinese pavilion. Its 26 acres of gardens grow pandanus palms beside gum trees, water lilies beside frangipani. And, most remarkably, it is dotted, inside and out, with an astounding collection of artworks and antiquities that set an exotic, colonial tone to the entire resort.

Polished timber floors, corrugated iron and painted lattice combine with handcrafted furnishings and original art works to make you feel like you’ve entered another world. From an intimate studio room to a luxury suite, an ocean view or set amongst quiet gardens, the choice is yours.

Families are well catered for at the resort with bungalows sleeping up to five and luxury suites sleeping up to seven. With their own kitchenette and dining areas, the whole family can experience a home, not only away from home, but in paradise.

We know that your goal is to relax and so for those without families we have set aside a number of hotel rooms for those over the age of 18 years overlooking our adult-only temperature controlled swimming pool, these rooms are quiet enough for the most discerning guest.

Broome is situated on the North West coast of Western Australia, and until the mid 1980s was only accessible by a dirt road. On a narrow peninsula surrounded by the azure waters of the Indian Ocean and Roebuck Bay, and recognised as a world class migratory bird stopover, it is a town where after watching a beautiful sunset you can retire for the night to the sound of waves crashing onshore and wake up to see the sun rise on the other side of the town amidst a torrent of birdsong.
