Day by Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Fly from Australia to Osaka. Some flights may be overnight, please ask us for more information. Your friendly tour guide will be waiting at the airport totransfer to the airport hotel.

  2. Day 2

    This morning, travel to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple, one of Japan’s mostfamous temples, with its Great Buddha Hall housing the world’s largest bronzestatue of the Buddha Vairocana. Wander through Nara Park, where over 1,200wild sika deer roam free before heading onwards to Kyoto, one of thecountry’s oldest cities. Continue to one of Osaka’s most famous landmarks,Osaka Castle; which played a major role in the uni cation of Japan during thesixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, before being dropped o at Dotonbori a street known to exemplify Osaka’s vibrant nightlife.

  3. Day 3

    This morning, travel to Kyoto and visit the UNESCO World HeritageKiyomizu-dera Temple and drink to your fortune from the streams of theOtowa Waterfall. Later, visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the TokugawaShogunate and Kinkakuji: Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple and WorldHeritage site with two -doors covered entirely in thin layers of pure gold anddetailed architecture incorporating three distinct styles of Shinden, Samuraiand Zen. Travel to Nagoya for a good night sleep.

  4. Day 4

    Today, visit Oshino Hakkai. Known as the Springs of Mount Fuji, the eightponds are fed by melting snow ltering down from the slopes of nearbyMount Fuji, through porous layers of lava, resulting in very clear spring waterthat is revered by the locals. Later, visit Gotemba Peace Park to capture abreathtaking view of Mount Fuji, before taking a cruise on Lake Ashi, andsavour the numerous delights of nature.

  5. Day 5

    Visit Meiji Shrine in the morning, dedicated to the dei ed spirits of EmperorMeiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Later, stroll through the AsakusaKannon Temple, one of Tokyo’s most colourful and popular temples andbrowse for souvenirs at Nakamise Shopping Street. Your last stop today isTokyo Tower, before heading to a hotel near Narita Airport. (Optional: Forguests staying behind in Tokyo, consider an upgrade of tonight’s groupaccommodation to a hotel in Tokyo CBD from $250/twin share room, transferis not included).

  6. Day 6

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your ight via a connectingcity to Australia. If you are ying Cathay Paci c or Japan Airlines, you will betransferred to Narita Airport (approx. 10 min). If you are ying ChinaSouthern Airlines or All Nippon Airways, you will be transferred to HanedaAirport (approx. 70 min).
