Day by Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Fly from Australia to Osaka. Some flights might be overnight, and if so we’ll let you know when you book. Your friendly tour guide will be waiting at the airport totransfer you to the airport hotel.

  2. Day 2

    Visit Todaiji Temple, with its Great Buddha Hall housing the world’s largestbronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana. Wander through Nara Park, whereover 1,200 wild sika deer roam free before travelling to Osaka. Visit OsakaCastle; which played a major role in the unification of Japan during thesixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, before being droppedoff at Dotonbori to exemplify Osaka’s vibrant food culture.

  3. Day 3

    This morning, visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa Shogunateand Kinkakuji: Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple and World Heritage sitewith two floors covered entirely in thin layers of pure gold and detailedarchitecture incorporating three distinct styles of Shinden, Samurai and Zen.Capping off your day at the UNESCO World Heritage Kiyomizu-dera Templeand drink to your fortune from the streams of the Otowa Waterfall.

  4. Day 4

    Today, visit Togetsu Bridge, the landmark of Western Kyoto’s ArashiyamaDistrict for over four hundred years. Exploring Sagano Bamboo Forest, onthe outskirts of Kyoto, towering green stalks of the famously versatile plantsway in the wind, creaking eerily they collide and twist, leaves rustling. Afterlunch, travelling onwards to Mount Fuji by bullet train (Max. speed 320km/h).

  5. Day 5

    Today, visit Oshino Hakkai. Known as the springs of Mount Fuji, the eightponds are fed by melting snow filtering down from the slopes of nearbyMount Fuji, through porous layers of lava, resulting in very clear spring waterthat is revered by the locals.. Later visit Mt Fuji 5th Station which is aboveclouds to view its enormous summit if weather permits. (Alternatively visitGotemba Peace Park to capture a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, andHakone Checkpoint. used to be an important checkpoint on the highwayconnecting Kyoto to Tokyo in Edo period. Take a cruise on Lake Ashi, andsavour the numerous delights of nature. Today’s last stop is Owakudanivalley, an active volcanic zone with hot springs and hot pring rivers.

  6. Day 6

    Today, visit Japanese Beer Factory to taste one of most popular Japanesebeer, Then visit Odawara Castle. Also travel to Kamakura and visit Daibutsu,the great Buddha which is the second tallest bronze Buddha statue in Japan,surpassed only by the statue in Nara’s todaijit temple. After, explore TsurugaowaHachimangu Shrine which was established by first Shogun (general)in Kamakura period which stands alone due to its vivid colouration.

  7. Day 7

    Spend today free at your own leisure. You may spend a day in TokyoDisneyland or DisneySea (admission $120) or you can join Nikko Day Tour($250). Or alternatively, you can join our wide range of optional programs (TeaCeremony, Pottery-making Experience, Golden Joinery, Kimono Photo Shoot,Cooking Class). All activities are not guided and transportation is self-arranged.

  8. Day 8

    Visit Meiji Shrine in the morning, dedicated to the deified spirits of EmperorMeiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Later, stroll through the AsakusaKannon Temple, one of Tokyo’s most colourful and popular temples andbrowse for souvenirs at Nakamise Shopping Street. Relex on Sumida RiverCruise. Your last stop today is Tokyo Tower, before heading to a hotel nearNarita Airport. On the next morning after breakfast,
