We are dedicated to giving you the most enjoyable holiday you ever had. So what makes Trafalgar different from other coach companies?

After almost 70 years, we’ve developed powerful relationships with everyone from hoteliers to local providers, to offer you everything you’d expect and more.

You’ll meet local people, hear their stories, and enjoy their food, wine and culture in a way that brings every destination to life. Travel with us and you’ll experience things you wouldn’t have known about doing it on your own.

Real Insiders

No one has been able to come close to establishing anything like our network of local characters; from chefs and artisans to historians, farmers and even taxi drivers. You’ll eat with them, drink with them; listen to their stories. You’ll find they’ll open up your understanding of your destination in ways you never imagined.

Real Choice

Trafalgar offer more destinations and more types of holiday than any other guided travel operator. You’ll find there’s a range of travel styles to suit you.

Real Ease

You’ll be a VIP: enjoy exclusive access to selected sights, avoid queues at major attractions, benefit from luggage porterage right to your room, and stay in carefully selected hotels.

We deliver what we promise: the real deal.

Real Flexibility

There’s always an element of free time and flexibility built-in, and there’s often a range of trips and Optional Experiences to choose from.

We were the first to offer Insider Experiences. We were the first to offer more leisurely guided vacations. And we’ll continue to innovate and add more firsts.

Everything we do shows our commitment to quality, from inspecting our hotels to training our Travel Directors.

From the person who meets you at the airport, to the team who go looking for extraordinary experiences, you’ll see our passion for amazing holidays.

No other guided travel company has received so many awards. Though what really matters is what our guests have to say.

We understand that where you stay on your trip is vitally important. To ensure you get the very best, we use our local knowledge and expertise to hand-pick each of our hotels for quality, character and location.

That’s why our accommodation has a 99% guest satisfaction rating, and over 80% say our hotels are ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.

The right location: We make certain that each hotel brings something special to your trip; whether it’s centrally located, in the midst of stunning countryside, or close to a major site.

Hand-picked quality: Our hotels are more than just a place to lay your head. That’s why we select each one to meet our quality guidelines, and visit them every year to ensure they’re still up to standard. Many hotels will be well-known names like Hilton and Radisson Blu; though we know that independent properties offer their own distinctive charm

Service and dedication: All of the hotels we use are as dedicated to exceptional service as we are. Your Travel Director will take care of your check-in. Your luggage will appear in your room as if by magic, and all your hotel gratuities will be covered. We know you like to stay connected while you’re away, so the majority of hotels we’ve picked offer WiFi.

Authentic Accommodation: We’ve used our local connections to find hotels that capture a destination’s culture in a unique way. For example, in France we might take you for a stay at the Mercure Albi Bastides, an 18th century listed watermill in the world heritage town of Albi. We’ve included Authentic Accommodation on selected trip styles, including At Leisure, Explorers and Hidden Journeys.
